Privacy Policy

Horse Show Planner ("Horse Show Planner", "we", "us") is operated by EquiTech Holdings, LLC, 1010 S Main St, Culpeper, VA 22701. This policy explains what information we collect when you use horseshowplanner.com (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who the Service is for
Horse Show Planner helps hunter/jumper barns plan their show season. Accounts are for adults. Barn managers invite members, and a parent or guardian can add the riders in their household, including riders under 18. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Information we collect
Account information. You can sign in with Google or with your email address. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and, if available, your profile picture. When you sign in with email, we receive your email address and the name you give us. We do not receive or store your Google password, and email sign-in is handled by our authentication provider.
Information you or your barn add. This includes your household, the riders in it (names and the barn they ride with), horses (names and related details), your RSVPs to shows, your barn's show plans, class selections, cost estimates, and any notes you enter. A barn manager or a member of your household may add some of this on your behalf.
Invitations. When someone invites you, we store your email address and the invitation so we can send it and connect you to the right barn or household when you accept.
Usage and device information. Our hosting and security providers automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. We use this to run the Service, fix problems and keep it secure.
Cookies. We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not use advertising cookies.
Show information. Much of what you see in the Service, such as show dates, venues, prize lists and schedules, comes from publicly available documents published by horse shows. This is not personal information about you.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide the Service, including showing your barn's plans, RSVPs and show details to the right people;
- sign you in and keep your account secure;
- send you emails you need, such as invitations and service notices;
- understand how the Service is used and improve it;
- respond to your requests and support questions;
- comply with law and protect our rights and the safety of our users.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who can see your information
Your barn and household. The Service is built for sharing within a barn. Other members of your barn can see your name, your riders and horses as they relate to shows, and your RSVPs. Members of your household can see and manage your household's riders, horses and RSVPs. Barn managers can see and manage information for their barn.
Service providers. We use trusted companies to run the Service. They process information only on our instructions and for these purposes:

Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
Business changes. If Horse Show Planner is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we need to keep it to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- access and update your information in your account settings;
- ask for a copy of your personal information;
- ask us to correct or delete your personal information or your account;
- leave a barn or household, or ask your barn manager to remove you.
To make a request, email support@horseshowplanner.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them where they apply.
If a barn manager or household member added information about you, you can still contact us directly to access, correct or delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls that limit each barn's data to its own members, and restricted access for our own staff. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where information is processed
The Service is operated in the United States, and our providers store and process information in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
