Terms of Use
Effective date: September 27, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Horse Show Planner at horseshowplanner.com (the "Service"), operated by EquiTech Holdings, LLC ("we", "us"). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Horse Show Planner helps hunter/jumper barns plan their show season: show dates and venues, prize list and schedule information, RSVPs, class selections and cost estimates.
The Service is in active development. Features may change, be added or be removed, and there may be interruptions or errors. We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 to create an account. A parent or guardian may add riders under 18 to their household and is responsible for the information they enter about those riders.
Access is by invitation from a barn or household. You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Keep the Google account or email address you sign in with secure, and tell us promptly at support@horseshowplanner.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.
Barn managers are responsible for who they invite to their barn and for managing their barn's members.
3. Show information is a planning aid, not the official record
Show dates, prize lists, class lists, fees, schedules, ring assignments and order of go in the Service are compiled from documents published by horse shows. Shows change their schedules, and published schedules are often tentative. Our information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong.
The show's official prize list, posted schedule and show office always govern. Before entering, paying, hauling or making any decision that matters, confirm details with the show. Deadlines, fees, eligibility and entry rules are set by the show and the governing associations, not by us.
Cost estimates in the Service are estimates only. Your actual charges are whatever the show bills.
4. Your content
"Your content" means information you or your barn add to the Service, such as households, riders, horses, RSVPs, plans and notes. You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store, display and process it as needed to run the Service, including showing it to members of your barn and household as the Service is designed to do.
You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to add it, including information about other people such as riders in your household.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- access another barn's or household's information without permission, or try to get around access controls;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, harassing or deceptive;
- copy, scrape or resell the Service or its data, or use it to build a competing product;
- interfere with the Service's operation or security, or try to access it by automated means we have not approved;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection to a barn.
We may suspend or remove access for anyone who breaks these rules.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as Google for sign-in and maps. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or for content on websites we link to, including show and association websites.
7. Fees
The Service is currently provided under the terms agreed with your barn. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and you will not be charged unless you agree.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 3, 4 (as to responsibility for your content), 9, 10, 11 and 12 continue to apply after your access ends.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or its show information will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, entry fees, travel costs, missed classes or deadlines, or lost data, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or US $100.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Culpeper County, Virginia, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
